New childcare centre construction | Southport, Gold Coast

The Nest Early Education of Excellence
Location: 132 Ridgeway Avenue, Southport

New, highly anticipated construction of a 141 place childcare centre, locally positioned in the heart of Southport. Having successfully completed a construction project for the client in the past, Jorgensens builders have again been entrusted to build this third project.

This centre is approximately 1002m2 on a sprawling 4047m2 of land and will include a 48 car basement carpark for staff, family & visitors and will be completed to a high-level turn-key finish.

The Nest Early Education of Excellence will be revealing their brand new website and ethos to the community and a little birdie tells us they are nothing short of nurturing, delivering optimal care under optimal staff.

Tim Cox from Jorgensens added “The centre will be an absolute welcome addition to Southport and the Gold Coast and it’s families. The centre is without a doubt carefully mapped out and their vision and passion is contagious, we are very excited to be constructing this childcare centre and can’t wait to showcase it to the client and the community”

Jorgensens Builders have begun the planning design and construction in December and it will be handed over mid-2020.

Complete with play forts, a mixture of natural environments, landscaping, play equipment, softfall and natural turf, along with the bio-retention tank, 9 activity rooms plus atelier and outdoor dining space, this is just a small selection of built-to-last components this centre will have to offer.

Commencing early December, the centre will be completed in mid-2020, ready to open its doors for trading.

We really are building for the future with all our childcare projects, making sure that value, innovation & quality are at the forefront of every construction.

Built to last and built to impress.

June Video – Internal construction is now complete! Jorgensens are now in the final stages of completion fo the playscapes and landscaping and it won’t be long until the sound of the pitter-patter of tiny feet is heard across this centre.

May Video    – Almost the end of May and my goodness how much was achieved over the last 4 weeks. We have dedicated focus to the multiple, nature-inspired playscapes in this progress video to really showcase the clever design and the sheer size and beauty of it all. The childcare centre is progressing on time and on budget

April Video   April 3rd update. Despite the absolute chaos from the COVID-19 virus, construction is an essential service, and Jorgensens Builders were on site doing what we do best.  Extra precautionary measures are in place to mitigate the spread of the virus, whilst still keeping the economy going. Tricky times but we are proud to achieve both.
