Beaudesert Centre In The News | Wearthy Play Architects

 In News

Team Jorgensens and Team Wearthy have long been formidable duos when it comes to designing and constructing incredible playscapes. They say “teamwork, makes the dream work” and I can safely speak on both our parts when I say “I contour!”

Here’s a little snippet from the Wearthy team they shared with us, and we wanted to share it with you.

“We are all just walking hearts. Be gentle.”

Here we are again, recapping on what’s proved to be another quarter of hardship and adversity.

A huge shout out to everyone caring for children in these challenging times – keeping spirits up and anxiety down, we see you. A gentle reminder to make sure your own oxygen mask is secure before helping others with theirs…look after yourself.

This quarter we completed a bunch of bedazzling playgrounds but want to share with you one in particular in Beaudesert, QLD. Lukas is back in the podcast studio with Season 3 of Play it Forward, welcoming real-life heroes who are creating positive change in children’s lives.

We’re also bringing attention to men’s mental health through Trademutt AND we’ve got a new Wearthy team member in the form of a sassy General Manager…

Keep playing,

THE WEARTHY TEAM

“There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One is roots; the other, wings.”

Hodding Carter

The traditional custodians of the land on which Beaudesert was settled are the Mununjali clan, of the Yugambeh language group whose traditional lands are the 5 rivers of Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim. The name Mununjali is derived from Munun meaning “scorched earth” and the suffix ‘-jali‘ refers to people meaning “Scorched Earth People” or “Black Soil People”.

Another special playground renovation with Amaze Education has successfully taken our breath away! This childcare centre sits amongst beautiful established gum trees and the playground is protected by a giant wedge-tail eagle, known for its defensive nature.
